WHAT’S SPECIAL ABOUT THIS COACH?
The Alfa SeeYa! is clearly the most well-thought out coach for livability. The engineers started with a clean sheet of paper and made a list of all the things RVers didn’t like about other motorhomes. Then they designed a coach that is so user-friendly, it just doesn’t compare to other brands.
Look at the height inside: it’s almost 8-feet like a house! How did they do that? They used a low-profile chassis to keep the floor level lower, and they did not put the air conditioners on the roof. The result is that you get the height where you want it: in the living area!
Look at the cabinet and closet space inside: You’ll never find more useable cabinets and drawers and doors inside a motorhome! The interior height even allows a second row of cabinets above the usual cabinets, where you can store things that are rarely used or seasonal items. And the engineers were even thoughtful enough to put a ladder in a compartment inside the coach so you can readily get to those upper cabinets!
Look at the compartments outside: There are compartments of every size and shape, no space is wasted! There are even ventilated compartments and tool compartments for any dirty stuff that you may want to carry. One huge compartment goes clear across the coach and has a sliding tray. Another compartment has a big sliding tray for outdoor entertainment which contains a TV and Norcold chest-type refrigerator/freezer under the patio awning, next to the outdoor stereo speakers. Where did all this space come from? The engineers used their heads to efficiently arrange the equipment other items in the basement such as fuel tank, LP tank, tanks, water heater, central air conditioning and furnace so that they didn’t waste space. Sounds simple, right? Well, other manufacturers often waste a lot of space because it is easier to build, but Alfa chose to invest in making this vehicle extremely space efficient.
Ergonomics matters: Look at how they located the various switches for battery shut-offs, lights, electric dump valves, inverter and other accessories. On many RVs, there are plenty of un-labeled switches in illogical locations so you have to guess where to find them and which way is “on”, but the Alfa is so intuitive to use.
Built-in trash can: Drop your trash through a large or small opening in the kitchen and it goes into a trash can located in its own compartment. Just open the outside compartment door to take out the trash can for dumping. Why haven’t other RV builders thought of that?!
Towing something big? The Freightliner Custom Chassis is rated to tow up to 10,000 pounds behind your Alfa.
