Let’s face it. All pre-owned RVs look good in the photographs on the internet. But what has the seller done to help protect you if you buy it? It is especially important to know about the seller’s efforts if you will be traveling a long distance to purchase the RV. Charlotte RV Center goes the “extra miles” to prepare the RV before you drive it away. And Charlotte RV Center protects you with a FREE warranty and a FREE road service membership.
FREE RV Warranty
The FREE RV Warranty costs the buyer nothing. Charlotte RV Center purchases an Extended Service Agreement contract for every RV we sell that is less than 13-years old when it is delivered to the recreational use retail buyer. The contract that Charlotte RV Center will purchase for you is valid for 3-months or 3,000-miles, whichever comes first, following the date of delivery. There is a $250.00 deductible if you have repairs done anywhere else, or the deductible will be waived if the work is done at our location. The contract administrator will determine whether repairs are covered by the contract, and will arrange payment for covered repairs.
For motorhomes, please CLICK HERE for the brochure on Extended Service Agreements available for motorhomes. The 3-month/3,000-miles warranty that we purchase at our expense for our motorhome buyers is the Powertrain Coverage shown in the brochure
For towable RVs, please CLICK HERE for the brochure on Extended Service Agreements available for towable RVs. The 3-month/3,000-miles warranty that we purchase at our expense for our towable RV buyers is the Standard Trailer Only Coverage shown in the brochure.
You will be offered the opportunity to purchase longer-term and more comprehensive Extended Service Agreement contracts from Charlotte RV Center. This is a valuable benefit. Don’t be fooled by offers to buy an Extended Service Agreement contract from other companies that may offer you coverage only one-year at a time, because their rate goes up every year as the RV gets older, just like buying life insurance as you get older! And their rates may go up at any time. It is safer to buy a contract that will be in effect for as long as you plan to own the RV, so the price is locked-in. The Extended Service Agreement contracts offered by Charlotte RV Center are backed by licensed insurance companies, so that even if the company that issues the contract goes out of business, your contract is backed by insurance.
Please ask for pricing. If you are financing the purchase of the RV, then the cost of Extended Service Agreement contracts can usually be added to the amount financed, so it can be part of the monthly payment.
* All RVs are sold AS-IS WITH NO WARRANTIES OR GUARANTEES EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. Charlotte RV Center will provide and pay for the 3-month/3,000-mile Extended Service Agreement contract described above.
** The FREE 3-month/3,000-mile Extended Service Agreement contract will not be provided to wholesale buyers, dealers, brokers, fleets, commercial operators, or exporters. Retail buyers who will use the RV in the United States before exporting it will receive the 3-month/3,000-mile Extended Service Agreement contract for their protection while the RV is still in the United States.
***Please note that Extended Service Agreement contracts from any company generally do not cover wear items or normal maintenance items such as tires, batteries, belts, hoses, light bulbs, brakes, body, paint, upholstery, water damage, normal wear and aging, or damage caused by collision, road hazard, impact, breakage, fire, theft, corrosion, flood, vandalism, rodents, insects, weather, etc.. Many of these hazards are covered by insurance policies that are specifically written for RVs, and Charlotte RV Center can assist you in obtaining a comprehensive RV insurance policy that covers your RV, your belongings, as well as many costs related to trip interruption due to a covered loss.

FREE PRE-DELIVERY INSPECTION
Every RV that Charlotte RV Center sells retail (unless otherwise agreed) will have been inspected and tested by us before it is released to the buyer to ensure that every standard-equipment device works as designed. Our checklist covers hundreds of items, from dipsticks to drawers, from roof to tires! The condition of safety equipment such as tires, brakes, suspension, steering, windshield, windows, lights, horns, windshield wipers, exhaust, fuel system, etc. will be inspected according to the criteria of the U.S. Department of Transportation Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles. There will be at least 1/4-tank of LP propane gas (if applicable), and at least 1/4-tank of motor fuel if it is a motorized vehicle.
FREE PRE-DELIVERY CLEANING
Every RV that Charlotte RV Center sells retail (unless otherwise agreed) will have been professionally washed on the outside. The interior will have been thoroughly cleaned, including the insides of the refrigerator, ovens, cabinets and closets. The exterior storage compartments will have been emptied and swept-out. We even do windows, roof and awnings!
FREE DEMONSTRATION SESSION
Every retail buyer (unless otherwise agreed) will be given a FREE COMPLETE ORIENTATION AND DEMONSTRATION SESSION with an RV technician to show the buyer how to operate every feature of the RV. And important reason for this session is to familiarize the buyer on where to find all of the switches and controls. Another important reason for this session is to demonstrate that the devices are working. The technician will usually be the same one who inspected the RV to prepare it for the buyer. The technician will answer questions about how to operate and maintain the RV. If it is a motorized RV, then the technician will also accompany the buyer on a test-drive to demonstrate features and to confirm that the RV drives normally.
