RV Traveling Tips
- If you are a member of Coach-Net or many other road service plans, they offer travel information and concierge service. Many RV dealers provide a free 1-year subscription to Coach-Net when you buy an RV from them. If you have to buy it on your own, go to www.NMCA.com or click here.
- Look at the various RVing websites and forums. Good ones include www.RoamingTimes.com and www.RVingPlanet.com.
How to Operate an RV
- Read all of the manuals that came with the RV when it was new, and any manuals for accessories that have been added or components that have been updated.
- The dealer or individual who sold it to you should be willing to show you how to operate every feature, and answer questions if you need help while on a trip.
- If you can’t remember how to operate something or it won’t work, you can call for help 24/7/365 if you have a Coach-Net road service membership. They have technical people on staff to talk you through things as part of their comprehensive package of services that are included with the road service membership. Go here for complete information. You’ll be amazed at all of the services they provide for a modest annual membership fee!
