Have you ever been in your RV or car and it vehicle bottoms out? That shouldn’t even happen often on rocky or jagged terrain, but what about when it happens on normal roads? If so, you really have a problem. Bottoming out is when the undercarriage of your car hits and scrapes against the ground. This happens because the suspension reaches the lowest point and Bottoming out can be attributed to a variety of different causes. Worn shock absorbers, insufficient spring tension, and putting too much weight in and on your vehicle can all cause your vehicle to bottom out.
This is a relatively simple fix. First, just try driving around with a bit less on your RV. If the problem persists, contact your nearest reputable RV Repair shop, and get some new shocks.
