Amos Slater: President of Charlotte RV Center
Amos Slater has been around RV's and motorcoaches nearly his entire life. His father; who made a career out of repairing Eagle & GMC motorcoaches, began Amos's education in the valuable trade of RV repair, sales, service, & maintenance. Picking up where his father left off Amos put together a fleet of Precost, GMC, and Eagle motorcoaches which he maintained and ran for over 17 years. After being around RV's, motorcoaches, travel trailers, and campers all his life repairing, selling, & servicing these large vehicles became second nature to Amos. The idea to open a full service RV dealership in Southwest Florida was the next logical step.
Besides learning about RV's from personal hands-on experience Amos also has a attended various RV programs & training courses throughout his career. These include:

- MCI and Eagle Training Programs
- Motorcoach Air Conditioning Training Programs

Amos Slater's knowledge and familiarity of all the systems that make up RV's, motorcoaches, travel trailers, campers, & most big rigs is known throughout southwest Florida. In 2004 Amos was asked to write a series of technical articles for National Bus Trader Magazine.
